Laboratory Order

Introduction

A laboratory service request is a formal request started by a healthcare provider for specific laboratory test/s to be performed on a patient´s biological sample/s (such as blood, urine, tissue or other body fluids). For handling laboratory related order from an external system to a Cambio system via COS, there are several profiles that can be used. The profiles can be used for orders of single or multiple laboratory analysis requested at the same time.

Included Profiles

• ServiceRequestLabOrder - This is a Service Request profile to be used for laboratory orders.
• ServiceRequestLabAnalysis - TThis is a Service Request profile to be used for representing a laboratory analysis.

Use Cases

• Create a Lab Order Request with single laboratory analysis.
• Create a Lab Order Request with multiple laboratory analysis.
• GET laboratory orders by id using ServiceRequestLabOrder.
• GET laboratory orders by subject using ServiceRequestLabOrder.
