Growth and Puberty

Introduction

For all growth, puberty and special measurements related clinical parameter use cases, the FHIR Observation resource is used. The profiles are used to communicate a limited set of clinical paramter data and focuses on the actual value of measurement and other connected sets of information.

All growth related Observation profiles can be used individually to communicate a certain value of a clinical parameter of a patient. For more information about supported operations, see each profile in the resource section.

The following list includes all Observation based profiles available in Cambio Open Services for this area:

• ObservationArmSpanLite - communicates a patient's arm span in cm.
• ObservationBoneAgeLite - communicates a patient's bone age in years and also the bone age measuring method.
• ObservationBreastStageFemaleLite - communicates female patient's breast stage.
• ObservationDateOfMenarcheLite - communicates a patient's date of menarche.
• ObservationFootLengthLite - communicates a patient's foot length in cm.
