Resource Profile: ObservationInspiredOxygenLite

Introduction

The ObservationInspiredOxygenLite profile represents the inspired oxygen of the patient in relation to the saturation. The profile is created from the resource Observation.

Intended Use

The ObservationInspiredOxygenLite is used for communicating if the patient has received oxygen or not. It is only used in relation to the ObservationOxygenSaturationLite. The profile should therefore only be used as a contained resource.

If this profile is included in the payload of the Oxygen saturation, it should be interpreted as if the patient has received oxygen. The flow rate of the inspired oxygen is sent in the Observation.value element. It is optional.

ObservationInspiredOxygenLite is only used as a part of the Oxygen saturation API.
